Day 1

Arrival at Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer is named after Raja Rawal Jaisal, who founded the city in 1156 AD. Nickname ‘Golden City” because the yellow sandstone used throughout the architecture of both the fort and the town below, imbues both with a certain golden-yellow light.
Pick up from Jaisalmer Airport. Check in to the Hotel. After few rest explore the city of Jaisalmer, first visit Jaisalmer Fort, known as Sonar Qila, it is one of the largest forts in the world. Besides these, Gadisar Lake is also an interesting spot that you must visit in this desert city; it is an artificial lake build by Raja Rawal Jaisal. Evening return back to hotel. Overnight stay at the Jaisalmer hotel.

Day 2

Jaisalmer

Today after breakfast, visit carved sandstone havelis, such as, the Salim Singh ki Haveli and Patwon ki Haveli. Salim Singh ki Haveli, built by Salim Singh in 1815, This Haveli is famous for its distinctive architecture.Patwon Ki Haveli is a cluster of five large havelis in Jaisalmer. Built in 1805 by Guman Chand Patwa, it took the workers almost 55 years to complete the first haveli. Besides this explore Jaisalmer local market and visit Pansari Bazaar, Bhatia Bazaar, and Sonaron Ka Baas. After lunch visit Bada Bagh, The set of royal cenotaphs are basically chhatris of the Maharajas which once ruled the Jaisalmer. After this visit Jaisalmer War Museum, also known as Laungewala War Memorial is established in the military station designed with the view of honoring the war heroes. It embraces the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Army. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3

Tanot Mata+ Indo –Pak Border -Jaisalmer (Sam sand dunes)

After early breakfast, checkout from hotel and drive to Tanot Mata Mandir. Goddess Aavad is worshiped as Tanot Mata. As per the oldest Charan literature Tanot Mata is an incarnation of divine goddess Hinglaj Mata. The village is close to the border with Pakistan, and is very close to the battle site of Longewala of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. From here you can visit the Indo-Pak border, the border a 20 kms away. You have to request the Military Office at Tanot Mata for permission, which is granted in normal circumstances. Late afternoon arrive at Sam sand dunes and check into desert camp for stay one night at camp side in Swiss Tents. Here you enjoy the Sunset on the dunes & Camel ride. Evening camp fire with Rajasthani Folk dance and music with dinner. Overnight at Stay at Swiss tents.

Day 4

Drop at Jaisalmer airport

After breakfast checkout from camp and drive towards Jaisalmer airport. Here we drop you for you’re onwards journey.
